Delusions

We were happy.

Writing back and forth.

I was happy.

Finding myself in you.

Falling deeper into the deep dark blue.

The ocean of emotions that swept me up.

Tumbling me in the waves of happiness.

But when I looked up.

I drowned in a riptide of tears.

All because there were just too many fears.
